Freiburg im Breisgau is a city in the south west of Germany, between the black forest and the river Rhine. It is a University City (ca. 230000 inhabitants) with a beautiful old city center and many bars, pubs and restaurants. Freiburg is one of the warmest regions of Germany (with almost an Italian flair). We expect to have warm summer with temperatures 20-30°C during the meeting. Freiburg is renowned as a “green” city” and we plan to make the congress as an environmentally friendly as possible.

The conference will be held at Messe Freiburg, a large convention center ca. 3km from the city centre, with a commitment for sustainability.
