Abstract submission

Abstract submission is open until 31 January 2026 (the deadline has been extended). You can submit your abstract to one of 29 symposia with set topics, or to the open session. You can submit abstracts for talks or posters. We will allocate talk slots across the symposia roughly based on the number of submissions. Please note that we want to give as many people as possible the chance to present their work in Freiburg. We thus allow only one presentation (talk or poster) per participant.

The abstracts will be evaluated by the symposium organizers (the scientific committee in case of the open sessions). The review process is blind as to the author identities. In case we receive more submissions than we have time or space for, the reviewers may transform the form of some of the presentations (e.g. from talk to poster).

Please submit your abstracts through the Converia submission system. You will need to set up an account first, which you can then later also use to register and pay for the conference. Abstracts can be up to 250 words long. To attend the conference, you will also have to register and pay the participation fees.
